Just A Thought

Why exactly do guys try to impress girls these days? I know in my case and a lot of my friends’ cases it has a lot to do with our own insecurities. The feeling that a girl won’t come to you on her own, or the girl you want anyways, and then the whole “rejection” thing; you finally approach the girl you want and she’s either: A). Too busy; B). You’re like a “brother” or “best friend” to her; or C). She’s interested in someone else. Better yet, D). She’s lying to your face just to make you “feel better.”

In my opinion as girls get older, they get bitchier and cattier. Common sense right, but you’d think they’d grow out of that stuff after high school. Turns out that in my experiences, yeah, they don’t, in college they get even more stuck up than they were before, and that “best friend” excuse is out the window, they’re just too good for you now. Happy with their single life toying with every guy that comes around. Back in the day it was “guys are players and cheats,” but now the more I open my eyes, girls are no different and tend to play worse mind games than guys. Sure in SOME cases you come across the bad egg within the guys, but as new generations pop up and things change, guys are becoming more and more sensitive and willing to own up to their mistakes. It changes in college, I noticed it within myself and some of my closest friends who used to get every girl they wanted because “they could.” Girls act all sensitive but most really aren’t any better than those high school and 1st and 2nd year college guys.

To me, it seems like everyone, more specifically, girls tend to replay and overuse the “guys are players and cheats” excuse to cover up their own flaws. I know very well now that a lot of the girls I found myself clinging to and being extremely close to represent this stereotype, and it sucks. You wish that the people you grew up around matured with you, especially the girls. When that time comes (now) where you want a steady relationship and to just settle down with the girl you want most, you probably aren’t going to get it.

My point being is, guys, don’t try anymore. It’s a waste of your time 90 percent of the time and at this age, you’ll be the one getting screwed over at the hands of that girl you REALLY want because she’s too busy toying with other people, too much to realize that the guys shes playing with might actually be the opposite of her: serious.

Wow

As I’ve grown older and gotten my priorities straight I’ve realized how happy I am to not be how I used to be and how some of my friends are. You really start to realize what the phrase “so high school” means. THEN you try to talk down some of those kids in a mature manner, but they egg you on. Or their friends do, because they’re still in that let’s be dramatic and egg people on stage when it’s done an over, type deal.

Not only that but if youre my “friend” or “following” me on all these social networking sites, consider yourself lucky because I can actually tolerate the things you say. As for everyone else, you’re “denied” or “blocked” because I’m beyond the maturity level you’re at. I’d rather pretend you’re not their than let you act all big trying to directly insult me and upsetting me in the end. I really don’t care about you.

My point being, usually I’d fight back, but when you let the issue go and just back off as they keep trying to seem like such a hardass…you realize that they’re really only impressing themselves and the people like them.

I made a good change

It feels good. Being more mature feels good.

Today

Is a boring boring day

totally winning lmao
